Accommodation:

Several of the conference participants will stay at Hotel Anker. It is one of the more affordable hotels and conveniently located in the city centre: http://www.anker-hotel.no/en/. We have reserved a number of rooms for the workshop (for 3 nights between 26 and 29 November 2014). Please mention ‘CAS 2’ when you make your reservation.

Travel to and from Airport Oslo Gardermoen:

The Oslo airport train Flytoget runs from early in the morning until late at night:  http://www.flytoget.no/eng/Stations/Flytoget-Airport-Express-train-station-at-Oslo-Airport Tickets are rather expensive with 170 NOK one way.

During the day there are also normal trains between the airport and Oslo city centre for almost half the price (90 NOK). For timetable information, see   https://reiseplanlegger.ruter.no/en#st:1,zo:0,sp:0

Travel within Oslo:

The most affordable and convenient way to move around in Oslo are 24 hours tickets for public transport, covering all buses, trams and metros. You can buy a 24 hours ticket for 90 NOK at any kiosk such as Narvesen or 7eleven. If you stay for longer than the three days of the workshop, a 7-days ticket for 230 NOK may be preferable.
